Magazine:
Solove, Daniel J. "The End Of Privacy?." Scientific American 299.3 (2008): 100-106. Academic Search Premier. Web. 26 May 2013.
I picked this magazine periodical first because I saw all of the subject terms and they all relate to my subject perfectly. I read the abstract and found that this article would really give my some good information about social networking and privacy. \
Research Article:
Hartzog, Woodrow, and Frederic Stutzman. "The Case For Online Obscurity." California Law Review 101.1 (2013): 1-49. Academic Search Premier. Web. 26 May 2013.
I picked this article because it seemed a good choice with my topic. You can see that it is a research article because it contains information that is professional and is endorsed by professors of law. It looks like the article cuts a clearer picture of previous information.
Newspaper Article:
Vega, Tanzina. "A New Tool in Protecting Online Privacy." New York Times 13 Feb. 2012: 4. Academic Search Premier. Web. 26 May 2013.
I picked this article because it seemed like it was an article about ways you can protect yourself online. This directly relates to my topic choice. I thought this would be a good choice.
Summary of Activity:
I used only one search statement which would be online OR internet and privacy and protect* I liked this activity but it was and is hard for me to explain why I picked them. Other then the obvious things, which was that they all related to my subject matter. I also liked that they were easy to find, once I searched for them. I really like EBSCO and have used it in the past in my 101 and 102 English classes and was very impressed with how helpful it really is. I was not disappointed this time as well, it gave me very good results and all the answers I needed to complete my assignment.
